    "Hello?" he called out, his voice echoing through the stillness.

    The young man's eyes narrowed slightly as he took in her appearance. He seemed to be sizing her up, trying to determine what she was capable of.
    "I'm from the emergency response team," he explained. "We're responding to a situation at the city center. Reports of a large group of creatures attacking the main gate."
    Permitting herself a hint of curiosity,许锦棠 raised an eyebrow. "Creatures?"
    The young man nodded. "Yes. We're not sure what they are or where they came from, but they seem to be... relentless. They're not responding to our attempts to reason with them."

    Permitting herself a nod,许锦棠 turned and began walking towards the city center. The young man followed close behind her, his eyes fixed on hers as if trying to read her thoughts.
